Hello AT,
I have a small classic bathroom, with black and white tiles. I would like to decorate the bathroom black and white and am having trouble finding a suitable shower curtain. Any suggestions? I would like something really striking.
Thanks, Dia

I'm having the same problem finding black and white duvets and bedding. I find it downright shocking how much bland and often downright ugly bedding is out there!
You can't go wrong with Marimekko. It's also on sale.

PS : This one from Marimekko is nice, too. It's more warm gray than black, but it's definitely striking.

Rob, if you can't find something you like, you should consider sewing (or having someone else sew) a custom set. It's relatively easy to do yourself and you can specify the fabric and closures that you want to use.
The same applies to you Dia, once you have a standard liner, you could use a few yards of any low maintenance fabric as your outer curtain.
Don't underestimate Target for white bedding. I got white bedding, simple lines from there. Duvet was around $60.
Crate and Barrel has the Frette-style bedding... white with the black embroidery. Really simple. Chandler bedding: http://www.crateandbarrel.com/family.aspx?c=1290&f=3264&viewall=1
Oh and Chambers Bedding is amazing as well... Outlet store for all Pottery Barn, Williams-Sonoma Home and Frette. They carry bed and bath accessories from those stores as well. Up the block from Hold Everything around 71st and 2nd Ave.
I got my black and white stripe shower curtain at Bloomingdales, but not sure they still carry it.
Try CB2, Crate & Barrel, and (if here in NYC) Details and the Terrence Conran Shop. Maybe also the Hotel line at Macy's?
Just got an e-mail re: Crate and Barrel Outlet. Listed is a striking black and white shower curtain called Kivet.

I was strolling on the site and saw my shower curtain! Yay! I got that same one at BB&B. I really love it. When I first bought it at my old place, I wasn't even in a black and white bathroom but now I am and I like it more...
Also, a shower curtain is really easy for someone with marginal skills to "run up"... or get your dry cleaner to hem it. A grommet kit is the last step, and an easy DIY. This also lets you customize the length if your rod hangs higher.
Oh my.
If you are looking for something striking but not so geometric, check out this awesome laser cut Tyvek(!) curtain from the MoMA store.

Looking for a a sunbrela 7ft shower curtain in white to look like the outdoor showers in the islands
I have a black and white shower curtain that is fun. It depicts the romantic and fashionable Paris. Everyone who visits always syas how much they love it. I don't see it on their web site (only something with a city-like design but its not the one I have and no where near as cool). I bought in the Jersey City store at the end of September. They also had a stunning and elegant floral black and white one when I was there, but I just liked how fun the Paris one is.
Oops, the Paris curtain, I bought at Target in Jersey City.
I love shower curtains b/c they can really make your bathroom look super classy and fun. For some reason I have started to dislike going to store after store and have increased my shopping online. I found a store that I really like called ShowerCurtainsGalore.com. They have a good variety and the pricing isn't that bad... although I'd be sure to try and purchase when they have shipping deals.
