Hi — I'm hoping someone can help me identify this paint color used in the new Anthropologie catalogue.
Thanks!
Amanda

Is this photo from the previous Anthropologie catalog? If so, you might try to take the catalog somewhere that can do a color match. Or, you might contact Anthropologie and ask if they are willing to share the brand and color.

I can't help you, but I would suggest taking the catalog into a good paint store and asking them to help you. I did that recently with a page from a magazine and good some very helpful advice.

It's probably custom. Go to the best paint store in your town and ask them to mix it for you. In Los Angeles there are some genius paint stores: Cox Paints in Santa Monica, Jill's Paint in Atwater Village, Par Paint in Echo Park. I think they can create anything!
It does have a strong resemblance to Benjamin Moore's Santa Monica Blue, but has more black/green in it.

If you look closely, there's a subtle leafy pattern on the walls - so it's probably not paint, but wallpaper.

The whole photo has a grainy texture to it---I thought it might be fabric on the walls at first. I blew the photo up to 400% and it does seem to have something going on in it. Not sure if it is the grainy thing or what. Sherwin Williams has a machine that can read the color for you and mix it on the spot.

The quality level of the jpeg posted has DRAMATICALLY shifted the color from what was printed in the catalog. It's also making the wall look like it has texture/pattern (it doesn't -- it's definitely a solid flat paint).
Amanda, I agree with Jennifer -- take the actual, printed catalog to a good paint store and ask for help! Don't rely on a jpeg or ask for this kind of color advice online. There are too many discrepancies and variances in how monitors display colors and with what happens to files when they are resaved.

I'm looking at "Slate Teal" from Benjamin Williams for my bedroom. It's sort of similiar, I think.

It is indeed paint, not fabric. The color is Benjamin Moore Casco Bay, #2051-30.

Anna at D16 --
Good advice - the whole "What color is this?" post idea is pretty dumb.

Another nice color, very similar is called Pewter. Also, by Benjamin Moore. Sorry I don't have the number handy.
