Hello AT,
Hope I'm not getting too greedy -- you guys recently helped me identify a very cool (and VERY expensive) fan I spotted in a catalog. This time, I'd love some suggestions on what kind of a table to match up with a set of Thonet kitchen chairs I just bought (left)...

I have vintage chener chairs which are very similar and I think they look lovely with a Danish modern simple round table (it becomes an oval with the leaves in).
But they could also look great with something very dissimilar like mod white (ikea does a good rip-off)...the orange would really pop.

using a wood table might be too much wood-I would like to see a black or white parsons type table.

Room & Board has customizable Parsons tables -- natural steel legs with choices on wood, limestone, granite, glass tops. I also like the "Strut" table from bludot in Dark Olive.

I think steel would go best with the chairs.

Thanks so much for these ideas ... you guys rock. Now I have some cool choices to mull over.
(Hi DeViscerantu, I got the chairs on eBay, 6 for $250, which seems like a pretty decent deal. Thanks, I thought they were nice too -- but apparently no one else did, no other bidders.)
