Hello AT,
Does anyone own or know of someone who has a Reiker Room Conditioner? (ceiling fan that cools and heats) It sounds ideal to heat my place in zones but I don't want to blow $350 that I could buy firewood with...Thank you, Gracias, L'lemsch! Warwoop
Dear Warwoop, we found a lot of info on these fans (much of it positive) but have no personal experience. Anyone else?

still nothin, huh? darn. i've been wondering the same thing; i'm building a house and delivery is mid-december.. these could prove to be very useful, esp. considering the way natural gas prices seem to be going.. anyone? bueller?
i have the Reiker and so far I'm not impressed- if it does warm the room it takes a long time. it may warm the walls and windows i dont know but the heart of my living room feels breezy. i have it in the living room and belived it warms up my thermotat keeping my home heating system from coming on. When i place the remote on the wall it reads a warmer temp than when i have it on the table. i would try a space heater and reversing your current ceiling fan and see how that works
go to ebay and type in search box reiker room conditioner there are 2 guys that sell these there,
just bought one and waiting for delivery.let u know when i get it.lots of possitive from buyers
I design sunrooms and the Reiker Heater Fan is my favorite way to heat these. They are beautiful and my clients love the efficiency of the heater. You must keep the size of the space you are heating in mind. In a 14 X 16 sunroom one heater fan is fine. When we do a larger room we use 2. Most of our sunrooms have cathedral ceilings, so in the larger rooms we hang on each side of the peak, rather then one in the center of the peak.
