Good Questions: Where Can I Find A Similar Chandelier in White?

10.10lamp.jpgHello AT,

I really like this Z Gallerie chandelier, not to mention that the price is great!

However, black does not really go with my decor.

Does anyone know where I could find something similar in shiny white?

Thanks! Heather

No, but you could spray paint whatever color you like.

It's glass, I don't think spray paint would give the same look.

I think that link doesn't work. You'll have to copy & paste it.

This one is pretty darn close but it is clear: http://www.ylighting.com/eur-ciatura-6lt.html

However, the best source for chandeliers in this style is the island of Murano, in Venice - I saw a ton of similar things there when I visited a couple of years ago, and the factories can make them in any color. If budget were no issue I would take a fab trip to Venice, order a chandelier (most of the factories ship worldwide) and have a great story to tell every time anyone came over!

Of course you can drop close to $3K on the version sold at DWR: http://www.dwr.com/images/zoom/zm_3938_10.jpg . However, Euroluce Lighting (145 Bowery St.) carries a line of Murano glass fixtures by Prospetto Lighting, which is less than half the price of the dwr version. I've bought stuff from them before, and I generally had a good experience, although I was a little annoyed that they don't keep any inventory in stock- it has to be shipped to you. Still, it only took a week for the fixtures to arrive.
