apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

Good Questions: Where can I find this light fixture?

8-29-square-chandelier-1.jpgHello AT,
Does anyone know where I can find this light fixture or one similar to it? I saw it in an ad for an apartment — it would be perfect for our coffered dining room ceiling. I am open to other recommendations. Thanks!
Michelle

In our initial search, we found this Rectangular Shade Chandelier from Restoration Hardware.

Anyone else have suggestions?

I am totally spelling this wrong...but I know I've seen similar on the "Alluminaire" website.

This seems like the kind of thing you would be best off getting made at a lampshade store, since the actual electrical part of it seems quite simple. Have no idea about cost, but I often walk by an adorable store on the UWS that makes custom lampshades, www.orientallampshade.com.

I would encourage everyone to go to Estonia. Tallinn is such a modern and yet historic place. And while you're there take a ship to Helsinki, Design capital of the world!
