Good Questions: Where Is Shark Grit?

2-17-dog.jpgHello AT,

I have a question about locating a product called Shark Grit for applying to hardwood stairs. It gives traction for older pets.

Do any of your readers know where I can find it or have any other suggestions, other than carpeting?

Thanks, Elaine

(Note: Include a pic of your problem and your question gets posted first.)

Dear Elaine,

We've looked and not been able to find anything except this nice description:

"And a product called Shark Grit is excellent on slippery wood stair treads to create traction for older dogs. Shark Grit contains fine particles of carbon fibre that you paint on the stairs for safety, also preventing wear from the dog's nails." Citizen Canine Dog Forum

Does anyone have a reference for this stuff??
