Good Questions: Where Is the Store That Used to be on Lafayette & Prince?

2004_7_question mark.jpg There used to be a store on Lafayette and Prince that sold Moroccan lamps. I remember they moved to 14th Street a few years ago, but I can't find the name of the store or the address. Do you have any ideas? Thanks, Raul

This is completely over our head, unless he is thinking of the Chameleon Lighting, which seems to now be on 59th street. Anyone else? MGR

Inside the Chelsea market (www.chelseamarket.com) you will find 'Imports from Marrakesh'. may be what you're looking for. we love their Moroccan tiles.

There is a shop on 2nd and 2nd in the east village. Right next to NY Adorned Tattoos.

The ABC outlet in the Bronx sells gorgeous Moroccan pendant lamps for around $65- $80, not bad!
