I've been trying to locate a task lamp that is featured throughout the lab in the TV show CSI Las Vegas. It is polished chrome, or stainless steel, appears to use a single long fluorescent tube and has a very linear shape. It has a distinctly Italian feel (to me), but I have had no luck locating it from any of the usual manufacturers (Flos, Artemide, Foscarini, etc). I did find an inexpensive lamp online which I feel is probably a knockoff inspired by the lamp I am looking for. I am attaching a picture of this lamp in hopes that it might remind some of you of the actual lamp on the show. Any leads will be greatly appreciated. -- Diego

I have never seen any of the CSI shows, but could it be the Madake lamp? That is the first thing I thought of when I saw the picture. Check roomandboard.com under table lamps. Also, Ylighting.com has a couple of lamps that show some resemblance to your example. Check under office/workspace lighting. Good luck!
