Good Questions: Where to Find an "Easy Edges" Lookalike?

gehry_pic4.jpgHello AT,

I love the style of the Gehry "Easy Edges" furniture line, specifically the table/desk that with the glass top in this link.

Of course, it's definitely out of my price range, but I'm wondering if anyone knows of a place I can get an inexpensive desk with clean lines, preferably wood that doesn't look IKEA. - Manuchao

Dear Manuchao, There has GOT to be a place to find similar shapes, that don't have the cardboard construction that Gehry's has. We hope for reader input here. Workbench - if it still existed - would have had something like this. Interestingly, Gehry's furniture line was SUPPOSED to be cheap:

Frank Gehry designed the Easy Edges Lounge chair to be the “Volkswagen of furniture”; it was simple and cheap to produce, and surprisingly durable. (via TWiki

Where we would look now, however, would be:
The Conran Shop
The Door Store

We hope this helps.....
