Good Questions: Where's This Bedside Table From?

2-27-bedroom.jpgHello AT,

I was hoping you could tell me where I might find the nightstand pictured in your 2/27 "February is Bedroom Month" post.

My husband and I have desperately been searching for bedroom furniture and we both love the look of this low table. I had posted a comment on today's open thread & someone made the (in retrospect obvious) suggestion I just ask you directly.

Thanks for any suggestions! Margaret

Dear Margaret,

We found that photo on the web and liked it and it wasn't a store, so we have no direct source. However, this looks like the sort of thing you would see at Desiron or even DWR, though it really seems to have an Italian pedigree, what with the metal B&B Italia legs and all.

We have to throw this one out to the crowd....anyone??

Nikko,
Where are you? How can I get in touch with you?

It is not an exact match but very similar to this EQ3 item on Craigslist (Columbus though):

Nikko, Are you a furniture-maker? I'm in Chicago, too. Where can I find out what you do?

While this is white instead of wood. It has a similar feel. If you or someone you know can be handy while a hacksaw and a file you could shorten the legs to adjust to a low bed. It's from the Isaac Mizrahi home collection at Target for only $99. It's called Isaac Mizrahi End Table. I tried to link to my name.

or this one maybe

You may want to check out the Morris side table I just found at Hold Everything.

Its similar but not exact, and for $69.99/each its a great price.

Comes in 3 different finishes.

Chucky,

If you still want to contact me about manufacturing, you may email me at nikkomoy@gmail.com.

Sara,

I consult as an architectural project manager for a group that creates custome products for residential use. I am closely connected w/ a few great fabricators and craftspeople. If you have a project that you would like to me look at, I'd gladly review it and see if I can help you out.
