I had a dish chair like that. It was from Pier 1 Imports, but that was about five years ago. We bought it on sale because the wicker was a little broken and put down a pillow just like in the picture. Left it behind when we moved. It was great in a small corner. Good luck!

I have two chairs like this in light brown. We got them about four years ago from Pier 1 at about $60 apiece. I first saw them in some design magazine, but I can't recall which one now. I'll do a little digging. Good luck!

I also have this chair; when I bought it at Pier 1, it was available in a light honey brown and a slightly darker chestnut. They were still available the last time I checked, but that's been a few months now.

hey i just moved from san diego, those chairs are all over mexico. you can buy them across the border in baja for 50 bucks in any color.

I bought a chair just like that from Urban Outfitters about 5 years ago... love it!

You can also find chairs, in this darker brown/or black you mention, at Flora Grubb in San Francisco (plant/outdoor gardening center) they are reasonably priced and hail from south africa.
