Hello AT,
I saw an ad for this sofa and loveseat. The seller can't remember the actual model name. She could only tell me two things (from the tag): Style No. T03082 and Pattern No. 4088-06. I really like them. Do you know who made these couches?...

The quality you should be able to tell on your own.
Is the piece light or heavy?
If you can see underneath, look to see what the frames are made out of. It should be hard wood. Never pine, never pressboard (Natuzzi charges a fortune for their sofas made out of pressboard). Look for corner-blocks where the frames come together. You should never see staples in furniture. Stuff at Target/Walmart/etc is usually just stapled.
Something with a quality frame and suspension will be heavier than something made out of pine. If it's light, it's cheap(er).
Look at the springs. Coil springs cost more and justify a higher price. You can tell what kind of springs it has by taking off the cushions. Sinous springs are cheaper and there's a lot of debate by some people over whether they're as good as coils. Sinous springs will (should be) much firmer than coil springs.
If the sofa has sinous springs and yet you sink into it, that's a bad sign. Don't let someone tell you "oh they just need to be tied" because that isn't how sinous suspensions are made.
As to these from the looks I wouldn't go over $200 for each piece from what I've seen in various places.
Good luck...

I would read up on bed bugs before I considered second-hand upholstered furniture.

I have a virtually identical couch (same 5 pillows, same damask fabric, same skirt and arm style) and it is from Jennifer Convertibles. Their prices can run from fairly low to pretty high, depending on what your budget is, you might want to consider buying new from them or even looking at their floor models. I've had fairly good luck with couches from there over the years, although I know some people don't think their quality is great. But my old couches from there went through four moves (one cross country) and many "group living" situations and were still nice enough that when I moved out the my new renters begged me to sell them the couches. Good luck!

I don't know how to edit (or if you can) posts, but if you go to http://www.jenniferfurniture.com/ you can see the couch in a different fabric.

I heard a different question here.
The originals design was, I think, by Syrie Maughm.
