Nora wants help identifying this mirror: "Hi!!! I was wondering if any of you fabulous design gurus would know where I can find this mirror? Who makes it? What is it called? Anything? I'm in loooove with it.
Any info is much appreciated!
Thank You!
Nora"

I don't have any ideas - but when folks find these types of photos in magazines don't they know to look in the "Resources" section for this info?

Frequently, not all items are sourced in the resources sections of said magazines -- and it's usually the item you're interested in that's NOT sourced. So perhaps it's okay for folks to ask whether anyone recognizes the item. Isn't that part of what makes this such a great web community? ;-)

The other thing you can do is send an e-mail to the magazine; sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. Based on what shelter mags do publish, I'm guessing that the letter should be something like this: "I have been an adoring fan of your magazine for years, and was just thrilled by the article in your last issue on the apartment designed to look like a psychedelic dream from "The Avengers." You just get better and better! Please, please tell me where to find that stunning mirror on page 32 -- it's the perfect thing for our third guest room!"

I dont know if this will help at all but I was just at the parker resort in palm springs this weekend and they have this mirror right as you enter in the front lobby...they are very friendly and helpful and I am sure they will help you out. Also, jonathan adler designed the whole place so it is possible you could write to his staff to ask for the source of the mirror.

Hi,
I don't know if you know this -- but this picture was in Domino Magazine's August 07 issue. In Liz Lange's home, decorated by Jonathan Adler. I don't think that the mirror is Jonathan Adler, but you can request a back issue at dominomag.com and I am positive the credit info is in their. I might have the issue at home and I will post the info if I can find it!

It is the "Peacock" mirror $2,600 by Andrianna Shamaris
#(212)388-9898.

It's not originally by her - this mirror is all over the place - it's imported from India or Africa. I was recently at Berbere Imports on La Cienega, and they have several of them - and for much less than $2600.
