Q: A long time ago I came across this chair while aimlessly surfing the internet. I want it so badly it hurts. The fabric is called "Alhambra Velvet" by Dedar. Sadly, they are an upscale house and are veiled in mystery and I am left with fruitless, desperate clicks that result in no more information than international showrooms.

I WANT THAT FABRIC, dear Apartment Therapy! Actually, I want the whole chair, but I will settle for fabric that I can use to reupholster something. I need to own SOMETHING that is made of this fabric. Please help me locate any information about it....price....how to obtain it...Thank you for your help :)

Dedar is only sold at "to the trade" design centers. as far as Chicago I'd try to contact: Holly Hunt in the Mart: http://www.hollyhunt.com/
The print is from Fall '07 though so it may or may not be hard to find, guessing it's priced around $65/yard? here's a link to the '07 catalog looks like it was made in 8 different colors.
