Identify Spindle Floor Lamp?
Good Questions

8-13-thom-filicia-lamp.jpgQ: Hello. I ran across your website, and you are my last hope. I am attaching a photo from Thom Filicia's website (portfolio, East End) that shows a great spindle-shaped lamp. I am wondering where the lamp is from (designer or manufacturer). I first ran across the lamp in the book "The Hamptons" in which the house from the attached picture is featured (and that Thom Filicia decorated). Any information is greatly appreciated.

It looks like it was made of varying sized wooden spools. If you eBay search, you might find a bunch of them you could glue together, and wire.

Good luck. It's cool!

Have you tried reaching Thom? I've met him and he seemed really approachable.

What about finding some old table legs and drilling a hole through them and stacking them on top of each other.

Its probably an antique, considering its in "the hamptons". Murray Feiss carries the new Martha Stewart line that has a couple antique-inspired carved/turned wood floor lamps that are very pretty. (I think anyway)
