Also, I have a parsons sofa table that could be used as a buffet. It is currently unfinished and any advice on a new color for it is greatly appreciated! Thanks, Joanna

try a pedestal or trestle table, so the chair legs won't bump into table legs.

If you like to mix styles, take a look at Room and Board online. They have some very cool raw or brushed steel tables. The chairs are great, buy 'em and figure out the table later!

Paul McCobb designed a table that matches the chairs. It folds out with two wings. I have one and it is beautiful and practical.

I agree with patrickmc that a pedestal table or even a farmhouse long wood table would be nice.
The McCobb matching table is beautiful and in this case matching would not be a bad thing.
I love this blog see what she did with similar style to your chairs-

i think (along with previous comments) a saarinen pedestal table in white would look great

also, for something cheaper i would look at the ikea torsby table, cb2's rivet table, cb2's engineer dining table, cb2's silverando rectangular dining table, or the cb2 skew table. and from the descriptions you gave me of the parsons table and the dimensions of the room, these options could all work

I would opt for a beautiful farmhouse table. Those chairs are so simple, they could go traditional or modern. They are pretty versatile. Depending on your decor, they could work with anything.
