This furniture would look beautiful with a very greyed-down lavender, and it would give you that film noir look you're after. It's one of those colors that changes with the light. Enjoy your new space... looks like it's going to be amazing.

Another vote for a grayish lavender. That sofa is devine.

Grayish lavender or a soft, light blue, and then lots of white accessories with very occasional flash of deep orange or green in a vase or a lamp or a strip of fabric on a pillow covering.

Light sage.. to make the couch pop

I'm seeing a deep gunmetal grey, Prussian blue, Royal purple, metallic Art Deco pattern wallpaper, perhaps a faux brocade with a gloss white pattern on flat white.

i would do a jungle blue to accent to cool tones of the grey, but wallpaper sounds amazing as well.

I agree with the other posters that a cool tone would look amazing with what you've chosen. Your best bet is to choose something with pattern--a throw pillow, artwork, wallpaper or area rug and go from there. Lavender would look fantastic though it's a very "of the moment" color. Find something you really love with a bit of color and go from there.

i do love intense colors. and with the lovely silvery tones you already have, i would be tempted to have at least one wall in a lovely dark, bright pink with a little purple. perhaps like benjamin moore's predawn sky.

I like the bright color, it make the room more attractive and live! don't be afraid about the lighting, with a bright wall color, the room need less lighting energy.

Another vote for purple. Purple looks opulent and moody. I would then look for a wallpaper with coordinating purple in it and black ideally to ground all the pale colours as a feature wall to add drama, or just a bold black and white paper.
There is also this all purple one from home depot that would look lovely especially if the wall where spiffed up with black nearby, i.e. black framed mirror, sleek black floor lamp. please post pictures of the after room for everyone to see!

I like the advice with going with what color jumps out at you. That being said, I think the rich blues and purples would do you a lot.

Also, depending, I really like the wall paper idea.

I don't think you could go wrong with white -- a soft white such as Benjamin Moore White Dove. I think your furniture would look great with midnight blue. Midnight blue wallpaper with a silvery design on one wall with matching paint in the silvery tones on the reamaining walls would look fantastic. Or matte midnight or navy paint.

Trendy wallpaper could be pretty for a while but you could tire of it. There is nothing wrong with going with white (or another soft neutral) and accenting walls with artwork.

Try placing different colored fabric swatches and objects against the couch and see what cathces your eye.

Also, look for "glamorous" rooms on furniture websites, such as Ethan Allen, and look at Google images to see what colors they use in a "glamorous" setting. Your stuff is definitely glamorous. Good luck.

We agree with a lot of the other folks, that painting your walls a grey or purple would look great. An accent wall with a graphic wallpaper could also help with the "glamour" look you're trying to achieve and take the space from nice to amazing.

Medium-Dark Grey w/ White-White trim and mouldings and a glossy white ceiling

For window coverings, I'd choose white dupioni silk floor-to-ceiling panels customized with black ribbon vertical banding on either side.

For carpet, I'd choose the largest circular White Flokati available.

Accessorize w/ lots of crystal, mirrors, silver, etc. Lamps w/ crystal bases and black shades on silver end tables.

Abstract artwork in ornate silver-leafed frames.

Then add one cut-crystal vase w/ Dark Pink Roses.

How about eggplant or raspberry?

Purple too, is the colour I spontaneously think of when seeing your furniture reading the description of your style.

I also thought of purple shades. For even more glamour, try black/aubergine or metallic silver paint.

I think most colors would work, as long as you pick a rich, saturated, dramatic hue. Royal purple, black, gray, saffron yellow. Dramatic damask or metallic wallpaper in dusky purples and silvers would also look great.

Really interesting choices you have - make them stand out! I would use a dark, saturated color (any could work - blue, grey, green, purple) so that the lightness and metallic colors of your furniture can pop off of a dark background. If you stay with a shiny or light color, it's all going to blend together (like people who have tan carpets, khaki sofas, and cream walls.)

I think a deep, green/blue color would look best with light gray molding.

Grab some of your favorite garments, and lay them one at a time on the couch & other furniture. Look for color / pattern / texture that will suit the furniture - and that is already comfortable for you. Use the best pairings to select colors.

I'd have to agree with a greyed-down purple color. I think it would look great with the steel grey velvet couch and lucite chairs. Plus purple is a very glamorous color when toned properly.

Your stuff is gorgeous, and since you want WOW, I would go for hot pink. I like the idea of a patterned wallpaper, maybe one with a bit of metallic (the one linked above is beautiful).

The most obvious choice for this sort of look would be flocked or flocked metallic wallpaper. The possible choices are many, although I would peg the top 2 as either a white (or cream) flock with metallic... something like this:

The other option is turquoise or light teal, which also shows up in flocked wallpaper.

A more unexpected treatment would be to wallpaper all the walls in a beautifully subtle textured wallpaper; I'd go with Paille Japonaise in RM-101-18-1 from Elitis, or Talisman in 201-03, or one of the Luxury Paille Japonaise, in either white or one of the grey-silvers:

I agree with rexrayfan!! Eggplant and raspberry!! How about paint three walls with one color and do the last wall in the other color! You could do it throughout and have each room have a accent wall color with all the other walls the same!

I would do a tone-on-tone white wallpaper. Check out Bradbury and Bradbury wallpaper and go to Art Deco (the era of Hollywood glam) and look at the "Moonlight" color - it'd be so perfect. They also have "periwinkle" if you want to do the lavender thing, but I wouldn't.

You could also do a pattern of gray/black on white.

If you want paint rather than paper, I would do the tone-on-tone white or a dark gray with white trim.

Or I would do a matte black. With gloss white trim. Rich and lush and you have such pale shimmery furniture you could carry it off.
