If you're looking for handmade lampshades we just got a tipoff from Jack recommending Judi's Lampshades in the ABC building. "A great lampshade retail company" which does "beautiful custom lampshades" are his exact words.
A quick tour of Judi's site reveals that she specializes in antique lamps and funky, new lampshades of all kinds as well as traditional shades in nice creamy colors. Her retail is in the ABC building and her studio is in Brooklyn.
