Mid-C Mecca.
We were late to a meeting the other day on 20th street because we ended up rooting about Lin/Weinberg, after spotting it's impeccable 2nd floor window from the street.
Lin/Weinberg is aspirational.

Heading towards the high end, Andy Lin and Larry Weinberg have been open since 1995, finding and selling mint condition 20th Century furniture and decorative art. Even if you don't normally like this stuff, this shop will turn your cheek.
If you are a designer, it is worth just coming by to take a look and make notes.
We particularly like the Hans Wegner chairs ($2,900 pr), the 1950 carved table lamps ($2,200) and the super George Nelson "Home Desk" ($11,400).
If this is your style, stop by here after you win the lottery. MGR

An incredible store. I bought a Finn Juhl chair from them, from, I believe, the 50's, and was impressed with their knowledge and interest; months later, I stopped in and Andy remembered me by my first name; and he delivered the chair, himself, to my apartment, the night I bought it.
I loved the selection and quality of all the items Ive seen at the Lynn Weinberg Gallery. Every piece I saw during the years Andy Lynn took his time and told me the circa, manufacturer and a description of the design and construction. I also noticed that most pieces where in original clean condition or restored by experts.
I am looking for a pair of ladies chairs by Zanuso made by Arflex in the 1950's.
I know what I like, but I am not an expert when it comes to mid-century furniture. I need to purchase from experts who will stand behind items they sell.
Andy Lin is the most knowledgeable seller I have met. He is never high pressure -- my pieces from Lin-Weinberg are my favorites!
