Architect Laszlo Kiss (what a great name!) is preparing to move his family into a modular, energy-efficient home in Sag Harbor that features a geothermal heating system and solar panels. As reported in The New York Times, new homes in this area of Eastern Long Island are some of the largest and often are built with average costs well over $1000 a square foot. Mr. Kiss' prefab design should come in around $265 a square foot. His design, the ASAP house (About Saving a Planet) is customizable for those who want a modern green home without a high price tag...

It is very nice....but I love SG Blocks. This company is building homes from used containers! You can put any siding you want on the outside, and never know it is a container. You can stack them, use them side by side any way you like. I think a Frank Loyd Wright look would be amazing. I love this company....great work!
