Bendable Curtain Tracks from Konnect International

0701_konnect.jpg

If you're thinking of DIY'ing curtains for your home, as window treatments or a room divider, you might consider Konnect International's bendable curtain tracks. Not only are they capable of being mounted on a curve, they just might be a little green, too...

You see, the tracks are so bendable that they ship in a roll. Try to imagine shipping a straight curtain track. Now, imagine the reduced packaging, handling, and costs required to ship a track that's all rolled up. Pretty convenient. Given the shipping advantage, we may even consider these for mounting in a straight run.

Finally! The exact thing I need! And at $2.00-4.75 a foot, these seem pretty reasonably priced too!

lindley13, does the track need to be hidden with a valance or is it attractive enough to leave exposed? I'm also excited by the, ahem, flexibility of this product!

I used these to put a floor to ceiling shower curtain in the bathroom and I am currently using the track for a floor to ceiling curtain wall along one wall in the bedroom (this project is currently under construction... ) lindley13 is right, the people are very friendly and helpful.

wig3000, I have so far left my track exposed. In the bedroom, I tailored the drapes so that the clips are hidden and the curtains ride about 1/3" below the track. In the bathroom, I clipped the curtains at the edge, so there is about a 1 1/2"-2" gap between the track and the curtain. I much prefer the bedroom look where the curtains run just below the track.

The track in the bathroom arrived a light beige with light beige rollers, but the track for the bedroom (separate order) arrived in pure white with pure white rollers. There is no color option on the order page, so if the color of the track makes a difference, it might be wise to ask what color they are shipping or have in stock. Once the curtains are finished (I am making them myself...halfway there...) I will post a picture.

AT always comes in at the right time! I bought curtains for an odd shaped bay window in my living room yesterday, and was about to launch a google search for these kinds of tracks.

wig3000, if you look on line, they also have one set up with a valance board.

We just ordered 40 feet of these tracks for our living area! It looks like it will do a great job! Now I just need to find curtains!
