This idea (and other uses for old clip boards) was spotted over at BackGarage, a cost-conscious design blog that is self-described as “Like Apartment Therapy for the Great Depression”.

I like it. It would be a nice way to display kids artwork from school without having everything plastered on the fridge.

Good idea, especially in a home where a lot of art is being produced and you want some temporary display space for constantly rotating items.
Another thing we've done is string up some wire and hang art from it using clothespins.
