Galya Rosenfeld: Reclaimed "Puzzle" Pillows
Boston

Galya Rosenfeld's lovely modular series pillows are a great green addition to any home and are available for purchase at Branch...

We received several comments in yesterday's puppy post regarding where we got our "puzzle" pillow. We don't often splurge on such a small item, but it's not often that a pillow impresses us to this degree. Made with reclaimed ultrasuede scraps from the upholstery industry, each pillow is unique, made by hand and as much a piece of art as it is a home accessory.

Designer Galya Rosenfeld's work reaches beyond pillows into fashion and installation pieces—she even has work in the permanent collection of The Costume Institute at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Her website is a visual feast of textile inspiration and definitely worth a look. You can purchase her pillows and scarves at Branch: Sustainable Design for Living. For purchase info on other Galya Rosenfeld's work, see her website.
