Right now we're eyeball-deep in studying for the LEED AP exam and have come across a ton of good sources for green living in the process.
One such resource is the Green Seal standard, which certifies products, from household cleaners to paper goods, with reduced impact on the environment and human health...
"Green Seal certifies everything from coffee filters to air chillers. Our seal appears on products found in stores such as Office Depot, Whole Foods, and Lowe's Home Improvement stores."
Look here for a list of Green Seal-certified products and their retailers. And as advised by the organization, "If you can't find Green Seal-certified products near you, ask the store manager to stock them for you. Listening to consumer demand is the only way [retailers will] stay in business."

And for more on LEED certification, its rating system, and resources, visit the U.S. Green Building Council website. By the way - the exam is Monday - wish us luck!

Good luck, this is your last chance to pass 2.2 before 3.0 which will be pretty different.

Hi Regina,
I was wondering if you (or any AT readers) had any advice for someone looking into LEED Certification - any good websites, study tips, etc.
Thanks so much in advance, and I wish you the best of luck on your exam!

Hello All,
I'm also taking my LEED exam on monday. I've been using https://www.greenexamprep.com/index.html to help me study. It's a great resource with practice exams that are pretty similar to the actual test. It's also very important to read the Reference Guide supplied by USGBC at https://www.usgbc.org/
The new exam which started on June 27 is different but Green Exam Prep has you covered.
Good luck everyone!
