Dana from Israel sent in a great tip about junk+ion, a company in Tel Aviv that takes one man's trash and turns it into another man's treasure.

They have some ingenious ideas on how to reuse items in an attractive way. For example, one of my personal favorites is the suitcase closet, which is conceptually simple, but not something I would ever think to do on my own.
Which ones do you like best? Do you have any reuse projects to share?
We specifically like taking junked furniture and turning it new again.

Sometimes I look at projects like this and think they are so clever. In more pessimistic moments, I look at projects like these and am very afraid that this is what the future will look like, a lot of old junk bodged together.

hey, I have one of the benches that are attached together! I think it's a beautiful bench on its own, though... not sure I like this combo.
I just might have to go to Tel Aviv to check these people out, though. Thanks for posting something close to home (for me)!!

Thank you! I am so happy you posted my tip!!!
I think they are a brilliant example of “thinking out of the box”: looking at something that had a specific purpose like it’s a blank sheet, and turning it to something totally different, and they make it seem so easy…
Dana.
