At the Clinton Global Initiative last week, actor Brad Pitt announced another New Orleans rebuilding project he's backing along with Steve Bing. Called Make It Right...
Make It Right with Brad Pitt
the project endeavors to build 150 new homes in the Lower Ninth Ward, one of the most devastated areas from Katrina. What's remarkable is that the homes are designed by innovative architects on the local, national, and international level. Check here for more on the designers involved. The designs of all of the homes will use sustainable construction methods as laid out in William McDonough's Cradle to Cradle.

i think it's swell and have no qualms with the jolie-pitts going crazy with the save the world thing. if you got it, flaunt it.
i do wonder if mike holmes (holmes on homes!) will have to duke it out with pitt over "make it right". that's the holmes production co name, i think...? they should totally get together and build stuff.
