Loving it. So simple and serene, yet in the middle of the city.

The garden is just disgustingly beautiful.

this is very much my style dream if not my style budget.

but i have to agree with hejiranyc and kiljoywashere, that it feels very "suburban", in a non-derogatory way. not sure if it's the light and space, the staid floorplan, or the garden view.

even the great midcentury pieces (covetable) seem relaxed as opposed to on display, which i think is the point in a comfortable home.

guess i'm not as hip as i thought and that it's harder than i realized to take the country out of the boy.

Woah ... so out of my price-range, but I love it. It's like a secret world up there.

ok, JUST TODAY i took a long stroll in and around Soho when I spied the domed building on the corner of Broome and Centre. it looked so familiar (i knew i had seen it featured on an AT post for some reason) so i glanced at the building across from it to try to jog my memory. the building was nondescript and none of the apartments stuck out so i moved on. here i am back at this post kicking myself for not LOOKING UP at the garden rooftop. LOL! worthy of another trip over there soon.

I am GREEN with envy of these people. I'm sorry but a lawn with chickens in the middle of the city is just too freakin' cool. And I thought the corn I grew on my terrace in Brooklyn was cool...
