It's quite lovely - I could see this in the Pottery Barn Catalog retailing for $429.

Agree with bepsf, though I'd like to see a larger shade on it.

Very nice! One shade darker on the stain, and you caould easily reach the $450 level. better yet, offer it in purple and you will be flooded with orders!

Love the Simplicity. Would like to see a larger shade option and a way to hide more of the cord.

Very nice, but it seems like a design I've seen lots of places.

Three stars. Bird lamp would have been a better name though.

Very nice. I am with Slowdown on this. The scale of the shade is a bit too small for the body. Otherwise, great job.

The NOMAD Floor Lamp could easily be the new standard in modern medical facilities such as posh rehab centers and high-end retirement communities. The tasteful design and simple lines would also enhance any hotel guest room or guest suite.

Well Done Mr. Worden

Great looking! I would definitely use it on projects if the shade was slightly larger.

I'm not in love with it compared to everyone else it seems. It might be the size of the shade and the style of the base that's throwing me off, I do like the proportions of the body of the lamp, might be interesting with a colored bolt rather than the standard steel. Good work though!

In some ways I like it, but I just don't feel like the design is very creative or original. It reminds me of an oil pump...

The proportions are a bit wonky (and the shade a bit too retro), but I kind of like it. Again, the price point is a bit much...if you brought a design like this to an actual wood worker, he/she would chuckle at its adorable simplicity, then throw it together in a couple hours and charge a third of the price.

let's get some innovation going people, if this makes it to the finals...this contest is a scam...or this guy is well connected, probably the second one. Lots of new readers for this website. Oh I'm babbling.
