11-02-vivavi2.jpgSustainable design has progressed way beyond burlap sacks and tree stumps. In the last few years, there's been a definite uptick in the market for chic yet eco-friendly design. New retailers seeking to create a stylish marketplace for environmentally sound products have been booming, and Vivavi is definitely at the top of the list...

Vivavi features products from a wide variety of sustainable companies/designers, including Amenity, Bart Bettencourt, J. Persing, Loop Organic, and Fire & Water. Josh Dorfman, the founder of both Vivavi and its online companion resource, Modern Green Living, also hosts The Lazy Environmentalist, a nationally broadcast radio show that showcases stylish and innovative green trends, technologies, products and services that make green living desirable and, more importantly, doable.

The dining table in the fist picture is gorgeous but nearly $10,000!!! That's a lot of greenbacks! Ouch!
