06.19.environment3372.jpgFor every room of your home, Environment 337 has something. A visit to one of their shops in Manhattan or Brooklyn or a look at their website shows that they are all about every facet of the home environment. And are they reading our minds?...

Here's how they sum up their belief about possessions and living well:
A well designed anything, made with care by hand, beats out everything made any other way.

Don't save anything for a special occasion, use it!

Less really is more. A few well-chosen pieces are better than a room full of stuff any day.

Everyday life is where we spend most of our time. Shouldn’t we fill it with the warmth of family and friends and the best colors and textures and scents we can find?

Well said. (Psst... they're in Brooklyn, too: 337 Smith Street Brooklyn, NY 11231 T-Sat 11-7, Sun 11-5 p 718-522-1767)

Their site is a bit hard to use. Frustrates you to much to want to buy anything from them.

I agree. The site is so slow and hard to navigate. I like unique website navigation, but I kept wishing for a plain ol' product page.

Completely agree -- just decided it would take less time to walk over to Smith Street from my apt. than try to use their website. Perhaps their plan??

The site worked great for me. Simple to use, I don't get the slow part. Maybe on dial-up?

It doesn't appear to be a serious shopping site. More of an obligatory web presence.
