Goofy chic. Pylones carries crazy home products that tend to be plastic, colorful, and wacky.
And more often than not, they're products that are molded into animal shapes just for fun. Most everything you'll find here is like a toy for your home, making you feel like a kid again..
Take, for instance, the dog bath plug. Or the giant bear savings bank, for holding all of your spare change. Or the bird magnets that hold errant paperclips and chirp when you touch them.
In moderation, some of this is really very cute. We posted their multicolor dishrack a while back.

Oh! i've got one of those birds !
I ran into the SoHo store shortly before the holiday season, and I was glad I did. This place is so fun -- you can't help but feel cheery amidst so much colorful and unique merchandise. I gave all my nieces (I have 6 . . .) these great hairbrushes -- each with different artwork and colors. Bought lots of othere fun stocking-stuffers, too.
My sister gave me a whisk shaped like a squid ... the tentacles (with a slight curl on the end) are the wire whisking part. People either think it's hilarious or creepy ... I'm in the former camp!
I have one of those birds. Precious. Works as both for paper clips and as a cat toy.
I think I have found my new favorite place for holiday shopping!
