(Note: We know June is over, but we just folks keep sending us pics of their Outdoor Homes and we've got to share them)

Hello, Columbia! Even with bars on the windows, the outdoors gets inside of this home. Note how well the green of the planting goes with the greens and yellows of the rest of the decor. (Thanks, Gloria!)

Greetings, AT! I know June was outdoor month and here I am sending some pics on July 2nd...

When we bought our apartment three years ago, the small balcony had been enclosed with an iron grill and sliding windows for security reasons (it's on the second floor). We kept the enclosure but decided to grow a tiny tropical jungle that tries to blend with the treetops outside.

We are in Cali, Colombia (South America!) and AT has been a great inspiration...

Your plants look like they're doing great in that corner, and the trees outside the window kind of give the feeling of a treehouse.

I know you were highlighting your indoor garden, but I have to say that your seating area looks bright, cheerful, cool and relaxing as well. I like it a lot.

That brick-shaped pattern of the grate outside the windows actually makes me want to physically leap in there, and paint that same pattern onto the walls, just to see what that would do.

I noticed the brick-patterned grate first, too. I actually think it works really well with your greenery.
