Igloo Satellite Cabin from IceWall One

This is an extreme escape — the Igloo Satellite Cabin from Australian company Icewall One, was designed specifically to provide shelter in cold climates. It is lightweight, modular, heavily insulated and it's been in use for over 25 years!

This prefab shelter was designed to be transported by helicopter. The basic model is just 3 meters in diameter and can be built upon with "extension panels, or interlinked by tunnels to provide a complete weatherproof base."

Icewall One is the expert on "Remote Accommodations Solutions" Because the Igloo Satellite Cabins are so well insulated, they also make great shelters in other extreme climates.

Igloo Satellite Cabin come in a variety of colors and from some basic internet research appear to cost about $9,000 each.

Thanks AT! I've found my new favorite thing! Sign me up for a burnt orange model. They need to come with removable wheels and/or a pontoon base. It'd make a terrific tree house as well!

I think it needs a spout and a handle and it will look like a little teapot short & stout. Cute!
