I am a neat freak.

Oh, so in for this one! What a great solution for small clean-ups.

Oh we need this! Our cordless dustbuster stickvac of a similar design is quickly dying after only 6 months of use...it's the only vacuum we have, so I'm about to resort to borrowing a neighbor's vacuum until we can do the research for one that will survive a bit longer...

I have a small condo with tile floors, sisal carpet and area rugs. I would love it if this vacuum could do the trick. It's small, looks cool and is designed for this kind of floor.

I've got a brand new place and have been looking for a combo vac/handheld. This would be perfect.

i love it! It would zip throught my 1 bedroom in a few mins.

I think this has been sold in the States for a while as I have seen this exact vacuum while looking for a stick vac a couple months ago. Here, it goes by the name of Electrolux Pronto.

With a small child who is just learning to eat with her "pincher fingers" most of the food ends up on the floor. This would be great to keep in the pantry and use after each meal!

I moved three weeks ago into a small apartment with stairs that are covered with blue carpet. I am the owner of two white cats. I have never owned a vacuum and I have a feeling this would be a purrfect solution!

I inherited my vacuum cleaner from my mother who apparently inherited it from hers. I don't really know that it sucks in the literal sense anymore.

I have this in red and bought it when I moved to my new apartment, about two months ago. I purchased it from Target. I love it and use it almost every night as I clean up my kitchen. Needless to say I have some obsessive compulsive tendencies! Don't we all? ;)

I like the two-in-one function.

I don't have a cat. I don't have any children. So why do I need this machine? Because I have a forced heating system that is shooting up dust bunnies, well, dust bears is more like it. I am sweeping the house everyday like a mad woman to keep up with this dust invasion. Swiffer sweeper is just not enough. So I have the West Elm felted wool cable rug that is shedding like crazy, I have two and four year old girls and no vaccuum cleaner!! This one would get me off of my hands and knees with the dust pan and brush. Pleeeeaaase take pity on me!

I can just see myself now with my 1 year-old daughter on my hip as I easily clean up her breakfast, lunch, and dinner messes that she constantly throws from her high chair. this is NOT a CARPET vacuumn, see the gazillion reviews at Amazon.

Also, i spoke to Electrolux regarding the Pronto (which is actually made by another company) and there are 2 versions. The Electrolux EL1000A and Electrolux EL1000B and the later being the latest release. I think the B does some stuff the A doesn't.

Desperate Virgo here! Inside my messy apartment is a clean one begging to get out. And now, with an injured shoulder to boot, I've given up on trying to drag my sucky little canister vacuum (and I mean sucky in a BAD way!) around corners and free the cord from everything it catches on. I really need this! (Plus, I could actually find room in the closet to store it, rather than leaving the canister/hose/attachments in the middle of the foyer because it's just too much trouble to stash all the components!)

I have had the Pronto version for one year. It's red; it's beautiful; and it's disappointing as a vacuum cleaner. Here are the drawbacks:

1) It doesn't pick up dirt on carpets.
2) The brush gets clogged easily, so it doesn't do a great job on floors either.
3) Because it is small, it needs to be emptied quite often.

On the bright side, it looks attractive enough to leave out and the little charge light acts as a nightlight, so I guess you could say that we paid $90 for an interesting nightlight.

Bj's carries the orange/reddish pronto for 80$ and I have seen the ergorapido goldish one for 99$ at Target. You can test the suction on the pronto at the 14th St. bed bath and beyond (they have a floor sample).

We have a small bi level, hardwood floor apt in old city philadelphia and with two cats this is def the easiest way to get the fur off the stairs and out of the corners. I think I would be more inclined to run this over my floors than lugging out my bulky canister vac. The one I have now is so cumbersome and the hose always manages to pop out of the hiding space I tuck it in. grr.

I have this--in the US called the pronto and only available in orange-red, as many have said before me! I got mine at Sears for $99. I've since seen it sold at Target. I also remember seeing it somewhere else--it popped up everywhere right after I bought it!

I have been relatively pleased, mainly because it looks good. A few things to be aware of based on my experience: The brush gets clogged a lot (as in strings or hair or whatever tangles around the ends). It's easy to clean, but it has driven me nuts on occasion. It's best use is for dust and on bare floors--if you're looking to use this as a primary vacuum on rugs/carpet, I'd say don't...I use it on my rugs as a day to day touch up, but there are definitely times when I need to drag out my full size one.

This sounds awesome, esp. for a small space (I can't imagine it taking more than 18 minutes to vacuum my place, unless I went over it twice!) I've got mostly hard-wood floors and a couple rugs - sounds like this was made for that kind of place. I also like that it is not bulky so it wouldn't take much room to store.

I know all of you who are complaining about pet hair just want the prize, but if you end up buying one, I'd recommend the Dyson pet or whatever it's called--my friend swears by it!

I love that it comes in a selection of colors. I'm leaning towards the aqua or green.

For some bizarre reason (maybe just God's sense of humor) I have a thing for vacuum cleaners. I am always buying new ones, or looking at new ones to buy. I even bought myself one for Christmas one year and gift wrapped it, with the gift tag reading "To me, from me" so that my husband wouldn't be upset that I had bought yet another new one (yes ladies, it worked, he wasn't mad).
