Loving this photo! It's so moody and evocative. Man, all the mixed emotions that inevitably come up when you leave one home behind and try to make a new home somewhere else...
Plus, I've totally had those still, silent moments in the middle of a hectic moving day -- when all the music and light and voices are packed away and your apt has never been quieter.
Nice work!

Hello all
Did anyway read that New York Times Home Section article titled, "The Imperfectionist", about a man on a mission to strip one's life down to the bare essentials(like super bare).

I thought it was interesting and can be related in terms of topic to Maxwell's The Cure concept but on the other hand it seemed very odd and overboard. Some good points are given but somehow there is the potential to become obsessed it seems with the idea of decluttering or pairing down that a sense of guilt comes about for wanting to either keep some stuff that you feel you really just like around you or the desire to once in a while buy something new to inspire you. Just a rambling thought.
