I want this chair just so I can re-enact scenes from Airport 75 on it.

I think it's kinda hideous now, but I also bet it will be shown in some glam-funky interior in Met Home within the year, and we'll all wish we scooped it up at this price when we had the chance.

everything is not created equally wonderful in this world. Not even when it's by the mothership Herman Miller... the proportions are just not right.

when i was a teenager these chairs were everywhere at the groovy new main library in my home town (long beach, ca). loved them then. it made me happy to see one.

only hot if the chair can self-replicate.

Hot, but just barely.

It's the wrong color for that kind of shape in a chair... I'd like to see it in white. My main problem with it is that its parts are all basically the same shape, rectangular with rounded edges. That's fine if you're a Sim and you want something for your SimHouse. I'd expect to see this chair in an airport terminal, not in a modern/fabulous home. All that having been said, it still gets some hot points because it is a Herman Miller.

I'd love to see it in white leather.
Or, for a really fun application in a kid's room, upholster each of the "chiclets" in a different color.

This is super hot. I grew up with two red loveseat chiclets in my parents' living room. The color and porportions are not as good here but I would have bought this piece for $150. It is very comfortable/wellmade. It was originally designed for airports/waiting rooms/ libraries. The fabric here is Herman Miller's 100% wool boucle.
