yeah, it looks so saggy and lumpy. :(
i don't like that turquoise, either. might be nice in some kind of glossy leather or quarter-patched (you know, making a + on the seat!) chocolate suede or something...

It's adorable. It looks like it needs a hug. I wouldn't have it in my house, but I would hug it.

HEY, you say that likes it's a bad thing! :)
Ah, my diabolical plan to clad the world in white patent leather is finally taking shape!!
(but I second Lorne's opinion on this chair having a lumpy sweetness to it. The furniture version of Charlie Brown's Christmas tree...)

I'm thinking "Cherry" the Chair from Pee Wee's Playhouse--except squashed. A flattened version of "Cherry".

p(too) - please tell me you're talking about the FURNITURE world here & not the human world, b/c in my opinion there are some people who should NOT be clad in white patent leather. including, i candidly admit, yours truly...

I said it was diabolical. I didn't say it was gonna be pretty.
Actually, the plan to clad the world in white patent leather now has to wait, since it's after Labor Day. :)

Further proof that just because it's old, doesn't mean it's cool!

An anorexic version of Cherry, maybe, after all of the Playhouse took turns kicking her in the face. Seriously, forget about the hug get this chair a steak!

I wish electronic stuff was as easily salvageable when it was in this kind of shape as chairs are.
When I lived in Hell's Kitchen, I used to find interesting chairs all the time, and take them and work them to a froth, and sometimes sold them. It was hard work sometimes, but it was fun, and so gratifying to see something with good bones not have to go to the boneyard.
Meanwhile, white patent leather world would be kind of like shiny snow, and if everyone else were wearing it, you'd only notice each other's faces, and that would be so bad. So, the Utopian qualities would take some of the evil out of P2's evil plan.
