And a total steal on the price! Unless it is $250 for each layer.

I love these old ultilitarian pieces. I once fawned so much over an oak shop counter that the workmen who were throwing it out offered to bring it to my place. If I'd had the space, I would have taken them up on it.
I don't know what you'd do with this piece though. Maybe it'd be perfect for someone who crafts a lot, since they always seem to have a million little supplies...

I am a librarian, so I couldn't resist having one. Mine is the right size for a coffee table, and the drawers hold a variety of cat toys.

Hot to death! So nice. I have two smaller quartersawn oak library card files. Lined with a paper drawer liner, they're great storage for things like ties and socks. Plus, if it's modular, you could arrange them into two stacks of 2 (it looks like there are two of the 'tops' included, from the picture).
Lovely. Somebody give it a good home, stat. (Plus, YES, the price is beyond reasonable -- normally these go for $150-250 per section)

I covet this piece. I would love something like that in my studio area. Many years ago I saw a gorgeous old apothecary wall unit with most of the little labels still on the various drawers and cubbies - I still kick myself for not grabbing it at the time and have never seen anything quite like it since.

I would LOVE something like this for my studio. It would just be perfect to hold art supplies and sewing/knitting stuff.

Very beautiful, very useful... just keep track of what you put in any given drawer or you'll take weeks to find it! :D I think this would be really good for someone who does some kind of craft that involves a lot of small parts - beading, something like that.
