Looking at the overabundance of wood in my living room, I like the concept of metal and glass... but this particular table seems fussy.

Looks like I'm in absolute minority in liking this table. I usually don't like glass, but here the combination of ornate legs and an "invisible" table top look strangely appealing to me. Also like the patina on the legs.

bubble - I agree. It's not at all my usual taste, but something about it is quirky enough to be appealing.

Actually it would be funkier with some rustic wooden chairs.

My problem is with the blandness of the chairs. Strong color is wanted here.

I like the table because it has an antique look to it. Should've been nicer chairs to go with the table.

I don't like the 'ornate' legs - I also think it's too fussy. Too decorative. It screams Carmela Soprano.

angelune, you're right i can see a nice antipasto to start, then escarole and bean soup to begin the meal in caldwell, new jersey.
actually i don't mind a nice iron and glass table, however this table is a poor cousin of a well made wrought iron table. it has proportions and details wrong. If the glass was set into the frame of the table both materials would be completely intergrated, this table with a slab of glass sitting on the frame looks unstable and crudely made, sorry carm, now i won't get a ride in the porche cayenne.
