Yes, it does look kind of like a cannibal cauldron for humans. But the Dutchtub also looks kind of like a giant molcajete, which we've always found beautiful in form. And did we mention, it's a colorful, portable hot tub. What more could you ask for?

Yessiree, that's the one for me!

It's made out of plastic and it burns wood. It certainly is not environmentally friendly. NOT GREEN.

Was slightly worried about clicking on a "cannibal cauldron for humans" link! Just out of interest, where would you put it?! Geography's not my strong point, but that doesn't look like New York in the photo...!

Since I first saw a photo of this I thought it was really cool

I'm sure the set up of the photograph really helps too ;)

Too bad it's not environmentally friendly.

Interesting that a person who profiles as "mrgreen" would post the suggestion that burning wood was "not green". Burning wood may not be as green as solar heating the water, but it is greener than most conventional fuel-burning methods for heating water.

I've seen one in real a week ago at an exposition. It's really cool, but has just one inconveniency: there's no step to enter it comfortably, the edges are quite high!
