What a fantastic piece of furniture! And wouldn't you just love telling your guests that it was designed by Boca do Lobo? I would.

I could see myself bumping into one of the sharp angles in the middle of the night and causing serious injury. Plus it's just silly looking and more appropriate in an old drag queen's dressing room.

Hideous.

If it just looked like a geode, that could be cool, but the golden feet make it seem like something out of Dictator Style.

...for a Suite at the Burj al Arab Hotel in Jumeirah, Dubai or a Garden Villa Suite aboard the Norwegian Jewel.

The color and finish are beautiful, and the shape could be interesting when closed up.

The feet are hideous and have got to go.

I can't decide what to think... For it to work I think it would have to be the only "crazy" thing in an otherwise minimal room... I think...

Not my style, but I can see this amethyst boat anchor in a large entry hall, not in the dining room.

Could be quite interesting in less ostentatious colours, but in purple and gold? Tacky.

The feet are a whole lot freaky. On different legs, I would love it.

I think it's kind of an interesting feat of ingenuity, and in the right spot it would be magical, I said "Hot", but there are so very possible ways of it looking like "Not" that it's practically radioactive.

I agree with the person who said that it looks kind of like something you'd find in Dubai, and yet part of me really kind of loves it.

This piece is interesting but I like some of the other pieces from their collection better. Some of their other pieces are not as crazy as this one. More Boca Do Lobo Examples
