I think this is fun. I wonder if you could get some blue star creeper or scotch moss going in it?

looks cool but reminds me too much of what lies in wait out my back door. would be much more appealing with thyme or something decorative as kimg924 suggests.

I think it's cool, but it wouldn't last long, what with cats and kids. It would look good for 2 days in our house...

i think it looks sort of neat, but my patio looks like this all over and i don't want to be reminded of that.

I think it is truly for those who do not have any outdoor space or patios. I had pet finches when I lived in a basement apartment. Once I moved to a house and they died off I concentrated on the birds outside and did not need indoor birds.

Better than sidewalk nostalgia. Step on the crack and you don't break your mother's back.

I think that relentless urban geometry and vegetation that at least "appears" uncontrolled make a good foil for each other.

I agree with the consensus that it's fun, though I'd go with a creeper thyme or moss, or maybe a sedum instead of weeds proper.
