Hot or Not? Our Little White Sofa by Christian Vivanco

9-16-white-sofa-shell-1.jpg

This sofa design from Barcelona-based designer Chrisitian Vivanco has a unique canopy component that wraps the reclined into a white-steel framed cocoon of sorts. Remarkably, Our Little White Sofa is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use...

I like the colour, the shape, the flexibility of it being outdoors/indoors, but I do not like the canopy

Why there's no warm between the hot or not? It seems to be my usual answer and I can never vote!

I'm not sure what those cushions have been sent to accomplish. This may be like the 80s new wave style or something, I don't like it. It's haphazardly "unique" in a geometric, newish, non-traditional style. It didn't impress me before and I still don't like it that much.

It's kind of like watching a bad movie and thinking, "wow, someone got paid to make this?"

I can see myself bonking my head on that "canopy"...what is the point of it, really? Also, I can't imagine this indoors.

The point of the canopy is to shade your face while you're lying out in the sun - very much like the sun loungers on Mediterranean beaches and aboard MSC cruiseships.

I like this alot.

I too thought the canopy was stupid till I saw it was for outdoors. That makes a lot of sense.

The angle seems a little sharp reclining, and unless I have the scale wrong my feet would hang off the end.
