Well the Pelican are my Favorite birds..so have I have to comment. Not going to work in my place but a genius for hiding the family jewels (if I had some). Unless, the robber loved interesting designed pieces of furniture.

Great for messy people : no need to sort things out to put them out of sight.

At first I thought Not because it's doomed to become a hidden bowl full of junk if it were in my room, but then I opened my desk drawer and realized that no matter the shape that seems to be the destiny for drawers in my life.

I'm not in love with the shape or look of it, but I like the way the lid comes up. It is big and round, it might be hard to reach in there and find what you want. My mind wants to say round is messy and square at least has the potential to be organized within.

It might depend on how quickly the bowl descends when you spin it. If it takes a lot of spinning to get access it might ruin the mood in certain, um situations.

This reminds me of the movie Fahrenheit 451, with the books hiding beneath the tabletop.
Nonetheless, I think it's pretty cool.

Love this. I have ikea Hatten tables, but it's sometime a pain to remove the lid when there' a bunch of crap on top.
