The ceramic remote is fragile and beautiful, transforming the plastic norm into something we take care of, or might even display. (Via Core 77) So, what do you think?
I really want to touch that. It looks delightful to hold in the hand!

This doesn't seem practical to me. I'm a pretty careful person and have dropped my remote many times. I wouldn't want something this pretty falling off my couch or table. I would cringe if anyone else were to use it.

Very nice looking!
But the notion of making something fragile so that it lasts longer is rediculous!

Beautiful but my remote falls too often. Just isn't logical.

I just want to touch it, it looks so good. We have carpet and a soft couch in front of our tv so I would think this thing would survive getting dropped just fine.

actually it makes perfect sense.
did no one read the beginning tagline... ?

the reason you lose things is because you are taking it for granted and misplacing in your mind.
this is awesome but the comments blow me away.

I am not going to take care of this thing because it is fragile. I might display it, but that is all. I'd put it someplace nice and buy a different one for everyday use. In addition it does not look comfortable to reach for or use. It looks like it requires two hands to use as the thumb cannot reach the buttons. The buttons themselves are level with the remote's surface and doesn't offer any tactile features for someone to memorize in the dark (does it light up?).

I think I need one made of rubber, not ceramic.

You silly people...did you read what is it made of?? Ceramic yes! but it's made of zirconia which is harder than steel!!!!!!
It won't brake, no matter how hard you bang it....gosh you don't know anything and then just make unrelevant comments.
