I'm looking for a large ceramic vase for branches maybe three feet high to stand in my living room.. Any suggestions? Thank you!
How much space should you have to put a cabinet in a hallway (so you can walk around it). My hallway is 37 inches wide. I was going to put a 17 inch deep cabinet in the hallway to place photos on and for storage. Is that enough room to walk around it?
HELP!!!! I have a dilemma. I have to move and after looking at many apartments, my best bets in my price range are an adorable TINY one bedroom with exposed brick, a little patio, but VERY VERY little closet space and not much room for an armoire or other storage (I have a lot of clothes!) OR The other choice is a cookie cutter studio with alot of closet space but no character. what to do???? Any opinions or suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
I saw a cool chair in Spain that was similar to a Barcelona chair but is two curved separate pieces that when put together support each other. The cushion was one long folding and removable piece. It was a bit smaller than a Barecelona chair and the perfect size. I would just love to get my hands on a couple!! Please, please, please let me know because it seems I've checked every corner of the internet.

My kitchen countertop is god-awful and am looking to replace them. I saw these fabulous glass countertops on HGTV (can't recall the show name) a few weeks ago and would love to find out who makes them. The countertops featured were an ocean blue color. Any suggestions? Anyone have experience with using glass for the countertop and pros/cons?
Thanks for your feedback!!
Looking for an article than ran in UK magazine Livingetc about a year ago -- "fancy" kitchens with IKEA components. Does anyone have a copy I could borrow?
I am searching for a dining table for a friend's apartment in Manhattan and wondered if anyone had any tips. He wants a thick glass top to a fairly rough wooden base. All the glass top tables tend to be too modern for his taste and a bit cold looking. Does anyone have any shop suggestions or even a craftsman who would custom make this? Thanks and great site, has helped me enormously working mostly from the UK.
My bedroom has beige walls and carpet -- nothing I can do about that, because of my renting, but I just got a purple and black tiger striped bedding set. I really like it; it's very fun, but I need ideas on how to accessorize my room now. I've always had a more traditional bedroom, but since I've got a new place, I want a change. Right now I also have a dark wood bookcase, light wood dresser, and white wicker night table and stand. Also a little black t.v.
Thanks so much for any suggestions!
