Wasn't Vivian's apt. in the Small Spaces book, but owned by someone else? Are we recyling?
Yes this apartment was featured on Small Space Big Design and is published in the book Living Large in Small Spaces.
I know the thread is closed on this now, but I have to rant too.
Vivan's comment about believing the previous tenant using the built in table area as a bedroom was not credible, given the fact that the table is a built in that existed with the previous tenant and is clearly shown in the book and television piece.
Another sketchy claim was the caption that mentioned the couch being a cool junk find. That couch was in the apartment before Vivian moved in, and is also shown in the book and on the SSBD episode.
Most of what makes this space cool was already in existence before Vivan moved in. I admire some of Vivian's little additions from her worldly travels, they do infuse the space with some of her tastes, but it remains largely familiar and not all that unchanged.
The disingenious nature of some of the above mentioned claims brings to question this:
Are all those collected pieces from around the world really from her travels?
Sorry Vivian, but you are busted!
