More on MarthaWatch™: Ego Still Intact, Martha Pushes Limits Again
- Doug: Does anyone else wonder what in the world an ankle bracelet is for if not to track where its wearer goes?
- Curtis: I just can't help but wonder if her ex-husband must have been a fraternity brother to some huge Republican power broker who's helping him exact revenge or something.
- pphilipp: "why does Martha think she's exempt from the rules that govern the rest of us?"
Ditto
"...deplore her attitude. And I hate that she keeps displaying that arrogance, again and again..."
Ditto
"I happen to like the aesthetic she represents"
I think that's an insult to the word "aesthetic."

I still very much like and stand by Martha (and my opinions of her sentencing...)
I know, I know, Martha - love her, hate her. No one's right, no one's wrong.
But the day I saw her old morning show, a couple years ago, which featured an excercise segment in which Martha, clad in a blousey top and tight black leggings, assumed a position where she, supine on the floor, threw her legs over her head - the words "auto-fellatio" come to mind - I just had to stand there, aghast, and say, "the NERVE."
It was a baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad thing...*shudder*
THAT makes me love Martha more.
Except I only love her as a genius of a brand-maker, as a business phoenix, and for the cool plastic pink and orange double old-fashioned glasses she sold me at Kmart.
O, and for making my mother happy.
*shudder*
pphillipp--
Didn't that just prove Martha IS the Queen of "do it yourself"? ;)
Good golly, they orta call you P-too-SHAY! ;)
I once told Martha she has beautiful eyes.
She responded by looking at me as if I'd used the wrong fork.
