- P2: Don't get me STARTED on Domino. I too want to love it, but it is SO geared to women in its tone that I can't even read the captions.

Re: Patrick's comment on Domino--I heard a short thing on NPR the other day about their second issue coming out, and someone from Domino was quoted as saying, "It's like going shopping with a good girlfriend." So I guess it's intentional.
Yes, but all MY best girlfriends are boys. :)
But seriously, these are probably the same people who bemoan the fact that their boyfriends/husbands won't get involved in decorating decisions... is it any wonder?!
And now that I've read the actual posts from Open Thread 54 (why was I so behind?), I realize that the magazine's intention was never in question. Duh.
